An important note to strunet valuable
users.
Because you're a valued
user of strunet, we want you to be among the first to know about some new
changes at Strunet.
During the past year, we've focused on strengthening our site and expanding its
capabilities. We've re-constructed the site to improve performance and
reliability and will consistently be adding new charts and diagrams, along with
other design aids.
The Strunet team has
committed its personal resources available to keep the site running so
our professional users would benefit. However, in recent months, our overhead
and the cost of the hosting became great, due to an increase in our unique
visitors. It has become difficult and expensive to run and maintain the site at
the current status of free. To reduce the strunet bandwidth, we uploaded the charts in
reduced size of .jpg format, and as a background. This would impair the quality
of viewing the charts of the screen, which is not meeting our goal for easy online
viewing. The option that we decided to exercise is to make all the charts in a
downloadable PDF file format, available for a nominal fee.
Effective immediately, we
will be offering our Design and Flow charts for a low price and through several
new promotional packages. This will definitely benefit our professional users by
having printable charts he or she can carry along.
Also, we are
considering adding additional charts in the very near future dealing with the
new ACI 318-2002. We want to ensure your continued access to the high-quality
service you've come to rely on. Now more than ever, Strunet is the
most friendly structural engineering resource available for students and
engineering professionals. We value your business and hope you take advantage of
this opportunity to fully experience the new Strunet.
