With the introduction of Strunet, response from structural engineering professional has been very encouraging. Strunet team appreciates all the positive feedback we received from our professional colloquies, see testimonials.  The feedback enforces Strunet's commitment to providing the most friendly reinforced concrete design aids online.

The need for the reinforced concrete design aids became a fact with the overwhelming use of computers and structural analysis and design programs. The user of such applications is probably exposed to forget and dismiss some of the essential basics required to understand the core of the structural design. Apparently, professors and educational facilities spared no effort to educate us on the subject of structural design. However, digging for information could be very challenging considering the number of recourses to extract such information from, and presented in an organized method. And that is precisely what strunet team had in mind, collecting all information pertaining to certain subject, or element, and assemble it in a very easy to follow, and yet comprehensive reference. These concrete design aid packages would take those who are eager to know-how back to the roots of structural concrete design in a very concise way.

At the current time, reinforced concrete design aids are available for most demanding elements in concrete structure design. They are:

American Concrete Institute Building Code Requirements for Structural Concrete ACI 381-99, and Commentary ACI 318R-99 is the referenced ACI code in these reinforced concrete design aids. Units used are English Units, i.e inches, and kips units. Pending on the response form overseas, we may add Metric units charts in the future.

"These flow charts are most helpful in organizing the process. I am Charles Singleton enrolled in a reinforced concrete design class and was looking for a comprehensive flow chart
for design just like you have posted. These charts closely follow the method
used by my professor. Thanks!"
